Making Space – Collaboration

Hello!

Last week I was contacted by Ms. Kaloper and shown a video from a really amazing artist and illustrator, Christian Robinson. Christian is doing a series entitled Making Space where he is focused on the intersection between art and our emotions. Art can offer a great outlet to express your thoughts and feelings. We thought that it would be great to collaborate and provide a lesson on showing emotions in art!

This video is focused on anger and how it can be very complex feeling. Christian states, “When anger arises, there are usually other emotions just below the surface. It can be difficult to express yourself with words when emotions run high. Perhaps pictures can give us another way to show how we feel.”

Take a look at his video and create an image that can express your feelings.
